The days of dried out burgers are over. Follow these simple steps for burger heaven.
Keep Holten's PARTY PACK Beef Patties frozen
They are packaged to go from freezer to cooktop for convenience, consistency, and maximum flavor.
1
Easy on the seasoning
Holten’s PARTY PACK Beef Patties already have a light dusting of seasoning.
2
Make sure the cooktop is hot
Whether you are cooking in a fry pan, griddle, or grill — you want to hear that sizzle when the burger goes on.
3
Grilling frozen burger patties
For medium-well: Preheat gas grill at 350º or when charcoal turns white. Cook frozen patty 6 to 9 minutes on one side or until the juices come to the surface. Turn and cook 4 to 6 minutes or until 160º internal temperature.
4
Broiling frozen burger patties
For medium-well: Place the frozen Holten’s PARTY PACK Beef Pattie in preheated broiler for 8 minutes or until 160º internal temperature.
5
Frying frozen burger patties
For medium-well: Place frozen beef patty in the preheated fry pan over medium-high heat. Cook for 5 minutes on one side. Turn and cook for 3 minutes or until 160º internal temperature.
6
Turn once
Starting with a hot cooktop, allow a 2-3 minute sear on the first side and turn once to fully cook on the opposite side. This keeps the burger intact and juicy.
7
Don't press down
Don’t squeeze out those lovely flavorful juices. They keep the burger moist!
8
Check internal temperature
Use an instant-read meat thermometer. Your magic number is 160º F. And remember, the meat will continue to cook once it is removed from the heat source.
9
Rest before serving
Once the burgers are done, place them on a platter for about 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute and makes the burgers delicious.
