Tailgating, Tips and Tricks
Tailgate Tips
Cooking for a crowd is hard enough — but making everything portable requires some MacGyver-like skills. Here are some simple ways to overcome tailgating hassles.
- Make hand-held food. Only napkins needed!
- Freeze water bottles. They pack well in the ice chest and you can drink them later.
- Semi-homemade. The cook should have fun, too. Purchase items that don’t require a lot of work: pre-sliced cheese, bottled sauces, chips, bakery cookies, etc.
- Clean up. Bring an empty tub and load all of your dirty dishes into it to haul home later. Use chlorine wipes for quick wipe-downs.
